Frankenstein — or more correctly, Frankenstein’s monster — first appeared in Mary Shelley’s novel, Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus, published anonymously in 1818 when Shelley was just 19. The character has since spawned scores of plays and movies, some of them good (Young Frankenstein) and some not so good (Van Helsing). Today’s quiz will test you on your knowledge of that character.
