I'm not even going to get into a discussion on the semantics of whether or not "Friends" is a funny show right now, because the last time I heard someone use the expression that they "laughed their rear end off" at something, it was my grandmother and she was talking about Regis. Why is there so much Aniston hate? If anything she's complimenting the writers and all of the other actors.

i can't stand the bitch either, she can't act and she seeks attention too much, she has set women back a decade with her desperate dating azz, any man she ends up with,has lost credibility.
As far as Jen being obsessed with Brad - I think that's a stretch. It's just that any time she says anything at all (and I'm sure she gets asked about it plenty) it becomes headline news. We're ALL obsessed with Jen/Brad/Angelina. In any case, they were together 7 years and only split up 3 years ago. I know my friends who have split up with their husbands still feel bitter several years down the track...and they don't have to put up with their husbands and the new partners being headline news 24/7. I think Jen's perfectly normal. And good on her for laughing at Friends. I bet plenty of other actors enjoy watching their own work but don't own up to it.
There are many phony celebs. What makes her stand out is that she pretends to be "America's Sweetheart", the image she fiercely manufactures trying to deceive the public for years now. Finally, thanks to the courageous Brad Pitt who saw through her charades and decided to have a real life with a big happy family he always wanted, people are now seeing the true colors of this fraud. That is why there are so many people who can't stand her. Aniston insults people's intelligence. We see through you.

Yes, it is truly "courageous" to publicly divorce someone and promptly take up a poorly disguised romance with someone else. That just screams, "I am my own man - totally capable of functioning alone."
Look, I find hearing about everyone involved in this trio completely annoying, but to hate someone you've never met, to judge someone in Hollywood for attempting to construct an image (I mean, there's a entire article in the Times today about Angelina Jolie's "fiercely manufactured" image) is totally ridiculous.
I could stand to see a little less of EVERYONE involved here.
Jennifer Aniston has been extremely gracious and dignified with regard to her divorce from Brad Pitt. She made a couple of minor, inoffensive comments regarding Angelina Jolie. Big deal! She's allowed to open her mouth, too! She's also allowed to take care of her body and look her best. Most actresses in Hollywood do. I don't know why there's so much bitterness, hatred and resentment shown towards her. I personally think she's talented and beautiful.
I never needed any reason to dislike Aniston other than the one I had back in 98 (or whenever that show was on): Her hair is a weird non-color of beige and it annoys the hell out of me.
