Saturday morning cartoons in the 80s were the best. At the time, cable was less available, and for a lot of us, myself included, Saturday mornings were the only time we could get a real cartoon fix. I’d wake up at 6 am (and start with, I believe, the Gummi Bears, and veg in front of the tube until around 11 a.m., or until my brain short-circuited from all the sugar cereal commercials. It was fantastic.
