Bugs Bunny. The Flintstones. Anything by Hanna-Barbera. Now those are some real, honest to goodness cartoons I want my kids to watch.
The 70′s cartoon trivia quiz was alright. And the 80′s cartoon trivia quiz was acceptable. But the cartoons of today are not worthy of a trivia quiz.
If you share my opinion, you’ll enjoy today’s trivia quiz about old cartoons from the 60s and before.

Brazil’s capital is not Rio de Janeiro and it’s not Sao Paulo. If you know your geography trivia, you’ll have little problem identifying the following 25 capital cities from North, South, and Central America.

I prefer Fat Elvis. I just love his hits from the late 60s like “In the Ghetto” and “Suspicious Minds.” I like my Elvis fat, sweaty, drugged, and in a white leisure suit. I’m weird like that.
All told, Elvis had approximately 18 number one hits and 38 top ten hits. In 1969, “Suspicious Minds” became the last Elvis single to top the Billboard Hot 100 List. “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” should have made it to the top in 1975, but the song just didn’t have enough power to drag his fat ass up the charts.
Enjoy this quick quiz on Elvis Presley’s chart topping singles. Unfortunately, skinny Elvis songs dominate the quiz.

Our Monopoly trivia quiz was well received, so we are revisiting the subject of board game trivia with a quiz about Clue.
If hearing “Professor Plum in the conservatory with a lead pipe” makes you nostalgic, and you were able to actually sit through the terrible 1985 Clue movie, this quiz is for you.
In addition, you’ll get bonus points if you’re familiar with the British version of the game, Cluego.

Today’s quiz tests your knowledge of Michael Jackson and lyrics from his songs.
I found the quiz quite a bit more difficult that I expected. You see, I’m a Jacko Wacko. Much to my wife’s dismay, I still cherish my Michael Jackson trading cards from the early 80s.
I missed a few questions due to my fat-finger typing… perhaps I should have taken off my jeweled glove. Well, at least during the quiz.
If you like this one quiz, you’ll also like our collection of other song lyrics trivia and maybe even our Madonna trivia and Bon Jovi trivia.

While we are mired in a seemingly endless winter, our regular delivery from the Harry and David fruit of the month club keeps the scurvy at bay.
As you trivia buffs undoubtedly know, scurvy is caused by a deficiency in vitamin C. In the 1700s, James Lind discovered the link between the vitamin and the disease. Many decades after Lind made the discovery, the British Navy finally supplemented their sailors diets with citrus fruits. This supplementation led to the nickname “limey.”
Scurvy, also known as Barlow’s disease when it occurs in kids, produces characteristic bloody gums and spots on the skin.
Also of note to trivia competitors:
- Scurvy is a human specific problem… most animals synthesize their own vitamin c.
- Vitamin c is also know as ascorbic acid.
With a tip of the cap to Harry, David, James Lind, the British Navy, and Flintstone’s vitamins, today’s quiz focuses on fruit trivia.
When you finish the fruit quiz, be sure to give our botany trivia category a peek if you need more plant trivia. And if you missed it, check out our vegetable trivia quiz from earlier this week.
