Last night Katie Holmes attended Elle magazine's Women in Hollywood Tribute, and told Us Magazine that Suri usually helps pick out her outfits and even helped with her ensemble for the evening.

"She did!" she told Us on the red carpet. And what did Suri think of her Alaia gown, Hermes bag and Givenchy shoes? "She gave me a big thumbs up!"

As I've pointed out in the past, Suri typically looks fabulous whereas Katie Holmes looks like she's completely given up in life.
