Heidi and Spencer Have Conspiracy Theories
Following Heidi Montag's deranged twitters earlier this week, Heidi and Spencer went on conspiracy theorist/right-wing nutjob Alex Jones' radio show earlier this week (listen above) to discuss the issues going on today. You know, "the issues." Like how 9/11 was an inside job, global warming is a hoax and how birth control is "morally corrupting" society:
"I feel like God was telling me that this was something just created by the government that is really bad for my body, and I was just getting sick," she says. "I researched it, and one of the founding people who invented birth control said it was the worst thing they had ever done, they wished they'd never created it, how it morally corrupted society, it's just sickening to him. How it devalues women, how it causes depression, how it can cause cancer, how it sterilizes your body, and what it does to your body, how most women are suicidal sometimes on it."
Another topic? Human microchip implantation, which would eliminate the need for credit cards and identification:
"This is very serious. It says in the Bible this is the mark of the beast, and that is a sign of worshipping the Devil. So over my dead body would I ever get a chip in my body," she says. "My body belongs to Jesus Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus, and I will speak out to Christians....this chip is the end of humanity." (Source)
Wait, so Heidi Montag thinks that getting a chip implanted so you can pay for gas at the pump by swiping your hand is the work of the Devil, but getting giant silicone bags shoved in your tits so you can flaunt them naked in Playboy is God's will? I'm not sure which version of the Bible it is that Heidi's been reading, but I'm starting to strongly suspect that she may have accidentally gotten her hands on a copy that was written by The Onion

Right on, Stacy re: microchips vs. silicon funbags. Not that Heidi would see the irony, mind you. I think Speidi were going for the Paris Hilton-style celebrity (known as the dumb blonde people love to hate). But that slot is taken, so they are going for the rightwing nuts audience--hence the talk about Jeebus.
I've never seen "The Hills" (reading about this couple in Wikipedia now), but apparently a lot of people have. Is there anything important from there I'm missing (all the sites I read seem to answer this emphatically w/ "NO")?
Re: conspiracy theory. There was an excellent piece in Standpoint that talked about just how much of this stuff is going around and how it has infected both the Right and the Left. You'd think humor - ridiculing those who believe this stuff, or just watching them ridicule themselves - would solve the problem, but some who watch The Daily Show or Red Eye religiously aren't necessarily exempt from conspiracy theories themselves. One would think the very fact people like Montag and Pratt were spewing this stuff would keep a good number of others away from it. It's a weird world we live in.
um, don't take the pill then, get your tubes tied or the hubby clipped;.. and the pill was invented to stop poverty, poor children from being born, aid hookers from getting too many abortions and keep the wife safe if it was dangerous for her to have children, good and bad there, but sterilization is better, until too many aid cases and of course super std's that don't respond to treatment
Now for the obvious you don't remember from following the ten commandments and remembering the garden of eden trials.. the mark of the beast is the devils thoughts and wishes set in your mind and your willing hands to do his work .. eating of the fruit from the serpent.. fruit being his deceitful words.. make you naked and unprotected from God's wisdom and love.
The 9/11 was staged by willing terrorists of another faith, who do not believe Christ is God.. born in flesh, called his son, wanting you to join the muslims and renounce your Christian faith.. hum.. kinda what you said, only american christians weren't involved except to be dumb and blind to whom should be your friends by political correctness, fear of speaking truth from the bible, liberals allowing too much filth to be born and shown and demormalizing the population in america and the world, and greatly offending those nations that thought they are more faithful, morally wise and strong against this degradation of mankind and doing the good work of allah. if you look in the bible to find the tribal family that didn't drink wine according to the will of their father, you will see who these muslims are.. sorta our enemy's;allowed to flourish, live on and pester us now and then by God's own word, as a shameful example to his Isralites that didn't obey him.

Our forefathers were all atheists who believed in a separation of church and state so as not to corrupt one with the other because they believed that as soon as religion became a factor, everything would get screwed up and you'd have a whole bunch of idiots running round stating that everything's a sin and then we'd turn into a christian country and then there would be more religious wars until one dominated and there would be no more America. We would just end up like Palestine.
1- Yes, she is stupid
2- No, 9/11 was not orchestrated by a dude in a cave (orelse you should really start questioning your country's ability to defend you against cavemen)
3- There are facts (not theories, facts) that don't make sense with the official explanation of 9/11. Really, don't contradict this statement unless you're blind, deaf and stupid.
4- God doesn't exist, and if he did you would go to Hell (think about it, seriously, you would).
Regardless of what you think about her religion or if you judge her as a hypocrite(for her ho bags) why would you want to get a chip implanted in you to pay for gas or to get into a club? Creepy. why is that no big deal? Have you spent anytime researching or thinking about that? Dont throw the Ho out with the Jacuzzi water.
