NBC Vice President of alternate programming Paul Telegdy is apparently
pissed after having to make an emergency trip to Costa Rica to deal with Heidi and Spencer's shit on "I'm a Celebrity..." and is now calling them out on it. He actually says that they're "everything that's wrong with America." No really, he
actually said those words:
"They are everything that's wrong with America...they are insincere, lazy, entitled and they claim the devil has possessed them," Telegdy fumes to Ryan Seacrest. "They are back [on the show] and this time they are contrite...yeah right. What they don't realize is that they are now going to be examined and their value system utterly deconstructed."
"They are going to spend the night somewhere in isolation and guarded with lots of surprises...but not traditional reality [stunts]," he reveals. "These people really are going to bare their souls." (Source)
This is fantastic. I'm going to go ahead and assume that when he says "bare their souls" he really means "bare their innards" after they "accidentally" have a run in with a large, fanged jungle cat that just "happened" to get out of its cage and "for some reason" smelled the raw bacon that had "mysteriously" found its way into Heidi and Spencer's packs. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure excessive use of quotation marks can't be used as evidence in a third-degree murder trials.
They say that there's no bad publicity, and these two prove it. What do they have to do to get ignored by the world? How low will they have to go?
And how ugly is Heidi really? I mean: that picture proves that there's still some ugly to uncover under the normal plastic doodle which is her face.
So why the fuck did he allow them to be cast? I call hypocrisy.
i challenge spencer pratt to 1 on 1 battle...this kid thinks hes famous from selling shamwows and the slapchop?please....they make me sick
i really do hope they get dosed with ayahuasca or iboga or something. let em trip balls and confront themselves in front of the world... i'd actually watch that!
Like most people TODAY in their 20s, they are either highly insecure and bitchy because inside they feel worthless, or the other extreme, they believe they are entitled because their parents never mentioned that the traits humble and genuine are important. What do you think karma is going to do to them? They'll be writing a book later, apologizing, blaming pills and agents and lawyers and managers, and, never realizing that deep within them is the problem--they are without souls. The book will bring them back to more fame and money, and, from there they will then go on interviews to try to warn people of what not to do (check out Madonna's claims of wishing she hadn't done the song material girl!), they will give advice to youngsters and take up more air time and fake being contrite, and, get paid for covers of magazines as they appear like "normal people" now. There will be a divorce and Heidi will claim she was brainwashed by Spencer and he will claim he was manipulated by her, and, they will go on for the next ten years until, they have nothing else to fake, brag or complain about. Each will marry another, a normal person, and, then explain to their embarrassed kids (hope there's therapy money left!) that they were young and foolish. Will another come along? No. TV will get another each, but not together. And, please note and know this, their relationship and marriage has been staged by managers, please note when they kiss they barely touch lips, these two have punked us through the roof. How stupid is TV and magazines, but hey it sells.
