Victim: (Noun) A person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action.Miley Cyrus has a memoir coming out for some inexplicable reason, because she's 16 and who the fuck cares. Anyway, in the book, aptly titled Miles to Go, (SNERK!) Miley talks about how horrible her life was before she became famous and how she was "brutally" picked on in school. Wah, like who wasn't?
"The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls," Miley wrote. "I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm."
Cyrus recalled one particular incident when her detractors locked her in the girls' restroom during class. "They shoved me in," she wrote in her book. "I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up." (Source)
Oh, you know what? I've got the world's tiniest violin here. It's a shame I don't have a bigger one, because I probably could have given it to those girls to use to beat her with. Most people don't realize it, but violins have just the perfect amount of leverage to make them the ideal beating tool.

Aaaaand unfortunately, they didn't, another sign of America's collapsing school system.
C'mon, I know people to whom worse things happened when they were in middle school. Such as, basically, everyone I know.
I also think it's downright stupid to write an autobiography at age sixteen. If she wrote it later in life, then she would be able to be less fake in general in her autobiography, because then she most likely would no longer have preteens looking up to her as a role model. (She'd also be able to tell us the truth about Billy Ray and their close relationship, since [hopefully] her parents wouldn't still be watching her as carefully to make sure she doesn't do anything bad.)
I certainly know I'll be looking for Miles to Go Volume II in so-and-so many years.
Those of us who write these things in diaries and journals at her age have the benefit of being able to look back on them and cringe in private. She will have the benefit of PUBLISHED EVIDENCE to support how dumb and oblivious she was as a teenager. Fun!
