Reunited: (Verb) Come together again after a period of separation or disunity.What?! Rihanna has reportedly taken back Chris Brown this weekend, and supposedly Diddy orchestrated the whole thing. There are no words.
The couple is staying together at a house owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Star Island near Miami, Florida. Brown has been seen smiling, riding a jet ski, and flexing his arm muscles. Rihanna arrived four days ago, according to a source.
The latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, reports the pair have recently begun speaking again, and that Brown reached out to Rihanna on her 21st birthday. “He’s been calling and they are talking,” says a source. (Source)
Don't you just love these kinds of classic love stories? Where a pair of star-crossed lovers defeats the odds, and finds love again after one beats the motherloving shit out of the other one and then evidence photos of the beating turn up on the internet so everyone can see how horrific the injuries sustained were yet somehow they're able to make it work? So fucking romantic, I could almost cry.
This I do not understand. I get that they are young and foolish but godamn! I told my husband once when we were having a huge fight once that if he ever hit me he had better make it count bc that would be the last thing he ever did. Im at a loss to understand why she would take him back. Didn't Josh Brolin have a domestic assualt charge brought against him? Diane Lane took him back but then he never beat her face in.

Fact is, nobody knows what the hell happened, and, if they don't care? I don't see why the fuck WE should.
I'm hoping this is like the time I pretended to take my high school boyfriend back so I could exact revenge on him in subtle ways before dumping him in the cruelest way possible.. although that was a waste of time and this seems like a waste as well, since Chris Brown is basically a worthless lump of shit.
No one knows exactly what happened that night but the two people involved. BUT based on what we do know, at the very worst he is going to do this again and at the very least both of their careers are going to suffer because of lack of respect on her part and disgust on his part. Brown is 19, so there is a possibility that he will mature past this and realize there are better ways of dealing with your anger. And if I were Rihanna I would hope that would be the case and wish him a good life, but then I'd tell him he lost his chance of ever proving that to me the second he hit me.
Rihanna, you are a moron. The assault charges against him will be swept under the rug because she won't be willing to testify, and he'll just keep doing it. I am at a loss as to why she would do this.
This is a shame. Rihanna is a very public figure and the action she has taken in response to being abused make it easier for other abused people to give their attackers (yet another) second chance. This was her decision to make and if she's really back with Chris Brown, she didn't value herself or other victims of abuse highly enough.
