Hell, just so long as he didn't do it for fun. Maybe back in the olden days it was socially acceptable to head on over to the park for a picnic, toss the frisbee around and put a choke on your bitch -- but those days have long since passed, my friends.
I really hope Rihanna comes forward with her story because she is an influence to so many young women. I also really hope she bitch slaps all these asshats that have come out in defense of Chris Brown. "Something had to provoke it" my ass. No matter what she said or did he should have just walked away. Why are people defending this moron?
Yeaaaaaaaa I'm not really seeing a situation that "provokes" an ass beating on a woman. She pretty much could've shortened this down to: "The bitch had it coming."

What compelling commentary, I had no idea violence could be provoked by rage. His camp seems to think he's earned a significant amount of respect or admiration... but I sort of lump him in the "trashy American Idol contestants I'm unfamiliar with" category. Hopefully he realizes that a replacement is being groomed as we speak.
It would have been great if Rhianna walked to the Grammys by herself, got up on that stage and, bloody nose and all, changed her song to Queen Latifah's UNITY.
But girl was hurt real bad, which is awful. That asshat Brown's career is OVER.
