the reality of extreme disappointment has replaced the anticipated
happiness.I
really am excited about
Wanted -- James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, curving bullets, a hard R rating! How can you not be? But why do I have the feeling that I'm about to get walloped with a triple-size helping of Anticipointment?
For two more weeks, we can at least enjoy the anticipation.

I think you're wrong on two points. First, anticipointment would be a noun. Secondly, I think it's a perfect encapsulation of the pessimist's world view. The pessimist anticipates being disappointed. There's a much shorter word for one who looks forward to an event -- particularly a movie -- only to be disappointed: sucker.
