Oh, fuck. God dammit. Heather Ledger is dead, guys.
Possible drug overdose. Go fucking figure. The guy was an amazing actor at the top of his career, and had a two year old daughter. He was 28 years old. I don't know what else to say. This is just a complete and utter tragedy.
I gather the collective mood at Sundance this week is going to be more depressing than the time when I was in high school and the captain of the soccer team dropped a bunch of acid and jumped into a moving car. Everyone just walked around either crying or completely dazed.
Sigh.
Brings back memories of Halloween 15 years ago when we heard River Phoenix was dead. The sun will shine a little less bright.
Such a terrible terrible waste.
I'm still stuck on his poor daugher. She'll only ever know him like we know him, through pictures and films. I mean, the fact that he was a good actor is sort of secondary to him being only 28 and a father.
I grieve for Michelle Williams, too. The paparazzi won't leave her alone, will they?
