Clay Aiken, who is debuting in Broaday's
Spamalot soon, was recently interviewed by
Newsweek and took umbrage to the reporter's line of questioning when he began talking about Aiken's sexuality and the flap with Kelly Ripa.
"I'm not going to talk about it," or, "I'm not going to discuss it." He
then turned on the reporter when he asked Aiken what he wanted to talk
about, hissing, "We're done. I thought Newsweek would be more
reputable. I'm surprised. This is Newsweek. It's not the National
Enquirer." (Source)
Here's a tip, Clay: You know how to tell if a magazine's standards for newsworthiness have dropped? It's when they ask
you to do an interview, dumbass. If
Newsweek were still a reputable publication, they'd be concerned with more important figures than a closeted former "AI" contestant who covers Richard Marx songs, somebody like -- say --
Rumer Willis. Clay Aiken calling a news magazine
disreputable is like Ashley Olsen calling Mary Kate too skinny. Pot meet worthless, tiny teeth, no-talent karaoke contest winner.
