Unfair

BRITNEY_103107.jpgUnfair Defined
Not based on or behaving according to the principles of equality and justice.

Ever the juggernaut PR machine, Britney Spears called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Wednesday morning to discuss her new album and recent legal woes. Did you know that the media is actually really, really unfair to poor Britney? Leave girlfriend alone! She's making it through life one thousand-calorie frothuccino at a time, just like the rest of us.

"People say what they want and do what they do and its sad how people, how cruel our world can be,'' she said. ''At the end of the day ... you've just got to know in your heart that you're doing the best you can and that's basically it.''

It's true. Our world really is cruel. Just the other day, I heard this story about this horrible mother who used to get wasted and do drugs around her young children, constantly bringing strange men over to the house and putting them in constant physical danger. Finally a judge had the good sense to take them away. But, man -- those poor kids. No matter what happens at this point, you know they're going to be totally fucked up for the rest of their lives, regardless. Who was that though? Ahh, either way. Sad, sad story. Sometimes life is just so unfair.

Oh Britney, the question you got ask yourself is:

What would Kanye do in my situation?

Hm, Britney really should look into writing a book of ego-fuelled ramblings/philosophical topics. With deep thoughts like that, she would be right up there with the great French existentialists. All she needs is a little name twist - Britney Spéars. There. You can't even notice the difference between her and Sartre anymore.

No, really, she's trying so hard to set an example of kindness and openness and all we do, the bitches, is treat her so, well, so unfairly. Tough luck, though.
