In a recent interview, Simon Cowell is once again denying allegations that he might be kind of a, you know -- poof.

"If I was, why hide it? It's not as if the music business would be an odd place for a gay man to work. And anyway, if I was trying to hide the fact that I was gay, I would be off playing rugby every Saturday, wouldn't I?"

Seriously, cut the guy a break already! All of the woman hating, ostentatious displaying of the manly chest hair and shameless fondling of said chest? That's not gay, that's just British. Oh, and as far as the "pole smoking" goes? I hear that's just how British men say "hello" to each other. Sheesh.
